My family calls me a planner, and my clients call me a people strategist. I'll admit, I like the fancier work title! The pattern continues: HR Business Partner leader inside a company, now Founder of my own coaching and consulting practice. Same work, fancier title.
So, what does the fancy title actually mean? In non-HR words, being a people strategist means I'm someone who understands what a business needs and knows how to build the plan to make it happen. I bring together talent strategy with business strategy. Big-picture thinking, solving problems, and building for long-term success. In my new world, the same work goes by coaching and consulting. Instead of supporting internal clients I deliver it for you, or your company.
I spent my career as a recruiter, a leader, an HR Business Partner, an advisor, and a coach inside corporate organizations. Along the way, I partnered with internal clients across every level and capacity, all the way up to C-suite leaders.
